Through Angie's list, I recently contacted West Houston Electric to work on some items in our home that had been found in an inspection. I provided a list of the items to WHE and within a day I had a quote for the work. Ryan Alston, WHE Electrical Technician, came to my home this afternoon and looked at the work I needed done and reviewed it with me. He then safely and efficiently completed the work. I note I periodically checked on Ryan's progress which he did not mind at all me doing. My service call was scheduled promptly with clear communication of fee structure in advance. Communication was excellent throughout with a courtesy call when Drew was on his way. He arrived within the scheduled window and was quickly able to fix the problem with a faulty GFCI circuit. He was also able to provide an on-site estimate for 2 options to connect a generator to the existing breaker panel. I would definitely recommend West Houston Electric to any residential customers.

My neighbor and I both used West Houston Electric to replace our breaker panel. After doing a month of research and getting 3 bids we decided to go with West Houston Electric. Their bid was in the middle of the three bids. The electrician (Drew) came out at the promised time to give us the bid. One of the reasons we accepted West Houston Electric's bid was because after receiving the bid I had a few questions. I called the office and talked to Randy (?). Randy explained everything in detail and reassured my desire in going with West Houston. The electrician, Drew, came out and he was the same guy who gave us the bid. Once again, he came out at the promised time to do the work. The company will send you a text message showing a GPS map with the electrician's time of arrival so you know exactly when he's coming. They also include a photo of the electrician. The work was done in the August heat and the only break taken was for lunch. Even then, Drew made sure our electricity was turned back on before he went on his lunch break. When he came back from lunch, he installed a new grounding wire and then checked the circuits throughout the house. He made a printed label (not handwritten) and attached it to the breaker box. When the City inspector came out to look at the installation he said, "You picked a great electrician because he did an excellent job." This company really has its act together. We couldn't be happier with the work from West Houston Electric and they will be our choice for all our electrical needs.
